The Dreamer
She loves to dream. She likes wondering about what could have been, should have been, and may have been. She loves looking at the night-sky - who knows, a shooting star may just fly past one day and she will be able to make her wish. Her wish to be with you.
*shudders - did I just write such a mushy paragraph?!*
Anyway, fill this up yourself, kay? :D

Before enlisting for NS, I got a diploma in Engineering Informatics (EIT) at Nanyang Polytechnic. After my BMT, I was posted to SAF ammunition command as an Ammo Tech. During the days there, I thought I won’t be involved in IT stuffs after 3 years of IT studies but in the end I was assigned as a Data Administrator.
I first started looking for a job around May 2008 as I’ll ORD in July. The first job I thought of is actually not IT-related as I wanted a change of environment. So I went for an interview with SIA as cabin crew. I like to travel around the world as I rarely have the budget to go out of Singapore for a holiday.
Around August, one of my polymates, Jeremy told me that our IT polymate, Carol got a job offer for us. I thought since SIA has not accepted my application yet, I should keep myself open to opinions and went for a camp organized by Peter Tan Organi (PTO®). That was when I came to know Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®). I didn’t reject the idea of being a financial consultant so I stayed throughout the base camp. In the end, I was impressed by Mr. Peter Tan and decided to join the career path of a financial consultant instead of being a cabin crew as the idea of being an entrepreneur was the major factor for me. I always wanted to follow my dad’s footsteps in doing his own business.
When I passed M5, M9 & HI and went for aims, my manager, Zhen Ping, told me to wear a tie. I was quite surprised that only few wore ties. It was after asking my manager then I know that Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) agents are always well-groomed. I was surprised of the system Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) has for its agents. The “NO-SMOKING” culture also surprised me as I did not hear of this rule before in outside corporate world. Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) even has a pledge that belongs to them which includes the 6 main pillars of Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®). I felt proud when we, as an organisation is reciting the pledge together. We even have our own notebook to differentiate us from others!
I’m really lucky and delighted to join Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) as the system and environment is really very nice for us to work in. I believe the system here will enable me to climb to greater heights and I know I won’t regret not choosing the job as cabin crew. Visit me @ petertan.com.sg
